Dr. Samer Sakka Amini has 27 years of experience specialising in Otolaryngology or Audiology. He completed his MBBS from Damascus University, Syria. In the year 1987, Dr. Samer went on to complete his medical education (CES of ENT) from Nancy University, France. At the same time, he has also finished his one-year extensive training in audiology from Nancy and Bordeaux, France.
Dr. Samer has a special interest in performing hearing tests for adults and children, vestibular tests for dizziness and vertigo, management of tinnitus, management of vertigo, screening of newborn hearing, diagnosis of dizziness, and management of hearing loss. He has been a Member of the Arab Federation of Deaf Care, French Organisation of ENT Specialists, Portman Foundation and the French organisation of audiology. Recently, he is working in the Saudi German Hospital, Dubai, UAE. He was heavily involved in compulsory military service as a specialist ENT in the Damascus Military Hospital for 2 years. Dr. Samer has been heavily involved in conducting workshops on Basic Life Support Provider(BLS), Audiovestibular, and Cochlear Implant Introductory Course and Electrophysiology masterclass by Nucleus.
